Fission Ridge’s Mulpula Uranium Project now holds two granted exploration licences in South Australia:
- EL 7169, Mulka: 994 km².
- EL 7170, Mungeranie: 959 km².
Mulpula has an approximate project area of 1,960 km². The individual granted licence areas total 1,953 km².
The separate Gason Project covers approximately 525 km². ELA01275 remains an exploration licence application.
Regional exploration
Mulpula is positioned within an active uranium exploration region of South Australia’s Lake Eyre Basin, where explorers including Orano, Orpheus and Alligator Energy are advancing projects.
Orano’s EL 7090 is approximately 29 km from EL 7169, while Paralana’s EL 7103 is approximately 29 km from EL 7170. Orpheus/Trachre’s EL 7154 is approximately 34 km from EL 7169.
Across the wider region, Tri-Star’s EL 6747 is approximately 66 km from EL 7169, and Alligator Energy’s Big Lake EL 6848 is approximately 70 km from EL 7170.
